Karazin University took part in a meeting with representatives of the Presidential Foundation for Support of Education, Science and Sports and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine on the problems and prospects of implementing double degree programs in the most necessary and important fields of education for Ukraine’s recovery.

At the event, the university was represented by Vice-Rector for Research and Education Borys Samorodov and Dean of the School of Chemistry Oleh Kalugin. They joined the discussion of further cooperation in the fields of energy, infrastructure restoration, engineering and technology, medicine, public administration and management, security and cybersecurity.

Within the framework of the meeting, Karazin University presented a list of double degree programs that have already been launched and programs that can be offered from September 2023 at the second master’s degree level, including the specialty 102 "Chemistry" together with the Lille University of Science and Technology (Villeneuve d’Ascq, France).

Thanks to double degree programs, students have the opportunity to enrich their academic experience, exchange knowledge, expand employment opportunities and become highly qualified specialists on whom the development of our country will depend in the future.
