Did you know that in 2017, Karazin University set an incredible Ukrainian record?
Just imagine — the university gathered 4,624 Karazin community members to set a national record for the largest mass performance of the spiritual hymn "Prayer for Ukraine" by Mykola Lysenko, a Karazin University alumnus and composer.
According to the National Register of Records of Ukraine, this achievement surpassed the previous record set in Truskavets, where 2,843 people participated in the performance.
The university's administration, students from all schools and education and research institutes, as well as students from the Kharkiv University Lyceum, joined in the record-setting event.
The performance was supported by the Karazin University Choir and a combined choir of partner universities.
We are confident that Karazin University has many more records ahead — both national and international!
