Ukrainian ART HUB "Mystetska FORTETSIA" is a project initiated by the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy, established on the basis of the M.V. Lysenko Kharkiv National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet. The project aims to provide artistic performances for psychological support to Ukrainian defenders, residents of the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, and areas close to combat zones.

Today, Tetyana Kaganovska, the Rector of Karazin University, and Igor Tuluzov, the General Director and artistic director of the M.V. Lysenko Kharkiv National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet, signed a cooperation agreement. This agreement outlines joint work in the fields of culture, educational activities, and project implementation. As noted by Rector Tetyana Kaganovska, this project of cultural, educational, and scientific restoration is crucial for Karazin University, Kharkiv, and Ukraine. Together, through our joint efforts, we will achieve noble goals!

Many plans lie ahead, as within the framework of the project, it is planned to conduct at least 100 artistic events throughout the year for 60,000 residents and defenders of Ukraine, including direct participants in events across 30 communities in the Kharkiv, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Sumy regions. Karazin University will assist in organizing these trips jointly with other partners: the Kharkiv Regional Organization of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society and the NGO "BF Mirne nebo".

The project has already seen its first performances. Actors have visited the liberated territories of Kharkiv region, including Balakliia, and held a charity concert for members of veterans' organizations in the region, as well as for local children.

We are proud to have joined such a significant initiative! We continue to fulfill the social mission of our renowned university!
