Karazin University Expands International Relations
On June 17, 2024, a delegation from Karazin University, led by Vice-Rector Zarif Nazirov, represented the university at the opening of Digital Week at the University of Côte d'Azur (Nice, France).
During the event, representatives from Karazin University met with delegations from the University of Sousse (Sousse, Tunisia), which ranks second in the QS country ranking for computer science, and the National Economics University (Hanoi, Vietnam), where they discussed the possibility of signing double degree agreements.
During the visit, Vice-Rector Zarif Nazirov held talks with Professor Philippe Loir, Vice-President for Digital Transformation at the University of Côte d'Azur. They discussed prospects for joint participation in Horizon program projects, support for the digitalization of Karazin University, and facilitation of Karazin University's entry into the Ulysseus Alliance as an associate member.
Later, during a meeting with Professor Cécile Sabourault, Vice-President for International and European Development, Zarif Nazirov signed an extension of the cooperation agreement between Karazin University and the University of Côte d'Azur in the field of research and education. He expressed hope for further cooperation in innovative research projects in physics.
There was also a consultation with Dr. Julie Lindsay, Senior Advisor for Educational Technologies at the University of Southern Queensland (Brisbane, Australia), on developing a hybrid learning strategy for international students.
