Karazin University is on the second place in the ranking of the Scopus scientometric database in 2023

The annual ranking of Ukrainian higher education institutions according to the data of the Scopus scientometric database, conducted in April 2023, has been published.

Scopus is a bibliographic and abstract database, a tool for tracking the citation of articles published in scientific journals. The ranking is based on the citation rates of scientific articles published by educational institutions or their specialists.

The ranking of Ukrainian universities takes into account the Hirsch index, a quantitative indicator based on the number of scientific publications and the number of citations.

According to this year’s results, Karazin University was ranked second in Scopus.

We are proud of Karazin University! This once again demonstrates that despite the difficulties faced by the university after the full-scale invasion, Karazin University continues its research and it is in demand and relevant in the scientific world.
