Ukraine’s Minister of Youth and Sports, Matvii Bidnyi, Visited Karazin University
The war has significantly impacted Ukraine's sports infrastructure. It is crucial not to halt the development of sports while waiting for the war to end but instead to restore sporting opportunities, listen to the voices of young people, and work together to overcome the consequences of Russia's invasion.
On December 12, during a working visit to Kharkiv, Ukraine’s Minister of Youth and Sports, Matvii Bidnyi, visited Karazin University and met with Kharkiv's youth, including students, representatives of youth councils, and organizations.
The Minister toured UniverGym — the new sports hall of Karazin University, which has become a hub for the sports life of Karazin students and Kharkiv residents.
The tour was conducted in the company of Oleh Syniehubov, Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, and Anton Blank, Director of UniverGym and Vice President of the National MMA Federation of Ukraine. According to Oleh Syniehubov, UniverGym is the first sports hall in the Kharkiv region fully equipped with TechnoGym training machines.
The visit took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere, with discussions focusing on the prospects for developing sports in the Kharkiv region and Kharkiv's future as a sports city.
