University Congratulates the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine with its Foundation Day
On November 27, Ukraine celebrates the Foundation Day of the National Academy of Sciences (NASU).
The National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine was founded on November 27, 1918, during the constituent assembly under the government of Hetman Pavlo Skoropadsky. The first president of NASU was the eminent scientist, geologist, and geochemist Volodymyr Vernadsky.
On this day, we deeply honor the illustrious history of the institution intertwined with the achievements of outstanding Ukrainian scientists. NASU is a prominent institute of national science that tirelessly serves the development and elevation of Ukraine's scientific potential.
Karazin University also contributes to this grand history by conducting comprehensive scientific research and actively collaborating with the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. In our university family, there are 7 academicians and corresponding members of NASU, and its president, Anatoliy Zagorodniy, serves as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Karazin University and a member of the Advisory Board of the Kharkiv Karazin University Foundation, being a graduate of Karazin University in 1972.
We congratulate the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine on its Foundation Day, wishing prosperity in new scientific achievements and advancements!
