Veterans’ Day: Karazin Community Expresses Its Gratitude

On 1 October, Ukraine celebrates Veterans’ Day, a day of gratitude to those who have defended and continue to defend our country. The date also marks the Day of Defenders of Ukraine, bringing together tributes to those who are currently defending Ukraine and those who have completed their military service.

V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University expresses its sincere gratitude to all veterans for their courage, dedication to Ukraine and contribution to its defence. We remember the fallen defenders and honour those who have returned to civilian life and continue their journeys through education, professional careers and civic engagement.

An important part of the University’s support for the veteran community is the Veterans’ Development Centre, established to facilitate veterans’ educational and professional adaptation, expand their opportunities and support their integration into civilian life.

On this day, we wish all veterans strength, respect and support, as well as new opportunities for growth and fulfilment. Thank you for your service, resilience, and for defending Ukraine!
