University Celebrates the Day of Unity of Ukraine!
January 22 is celebrated every year as the Day of Unity, marking the proclamation of the Act of Unity of the Ukrainian People's Republic and the Western Ukrainian People's Republic. This day signifies two crucial events in our history. In 1918, Ukrainians established the Ukrainian People's Republic, asserting their independence. Exactly one year later, the Act of Unity between the UNR and ZUNR was declared, a historic consolidation of Ukrainian territories into one state.
The concept of unity has always been a fundamental national value for Ukrainians, and today, it serves as a prerequisite for continuous resistance against external aggression. This holiday reminds us that together, we stand strong, and our history and culture are an endless source of strength in the fight for freedom, dignity, and the right to determine our destiny.
In the face of new challenges, the Day of Unity takes on special significance. Every day, Ukrainians, thanks to their unity, strength, and unwavering spirit, continue to defend their rights, independence, and the integrity of Ukraine.
May the Day of Unity become a symbol of unity, pride, love for our homeland, and boundless energy for the well-being of our country!
