Independence Day: the University Congratulates!
Today, we celebrate a special holiday for our nation. A day that symbolizes the long struggle of Ukrainians for the right to live freely on their own land, in their free, sovereign, and united state.
Thirty-three years ago, the deepest wish of many generations came true — Ukraine gained independence. However, the trials did not come to the end. For ten years, the war for independence has continued against the embodiment of global evil.
For ten years, thousands of soldiers have stood daily to defend Ukraine. At the cost of their lives, they protect our independence. During this decade of struggle, the university has learned of 61 Karazin graduates who died while carrying out combat missions. Their names are forever engraved in the history of the university, and their memory will live in our hearts forever.
This is why the university works — to educate a conscious youth who will carry the values of our country throughout the world. A youth whose Ukrainian voices will resonate the loudest. A youth whose scientific contributions will change this planet for the better. So that the whole world knows who Ukrainians are and what Ukraine stands for!
Karazin University wishes us all peaceful skies, a our soon victory, prosperity, and happiness in every home. We are confident that our country will have a bright future, free from evil and war.
