Ukrainian National Anthem Day: The University Commemorates

Today, as Ukraine fights for its independence, the National Anthem holds special significance. It reminds us of the heroic struggle of our predecessors, supports our fighting spirit, and inspires new achievements for the present and future of our country.

The National Anthem of Ukraine is a symbol of our nation's struggle and courage:

"We’ll lay down our souls and bodies to attain our freedom,
And we’ll show that we, brothers, are of the Cossack nation."

The anthem unites us across thousands of kilometers. No matter where we are, the lines "Ukraine's glory and freedom have not yet perished..." remind us of home and how vital it is to fight for it.

May the words of the Anthem ring loudly from Starobilsk to Mukachevo, from Chernihiv to Sevastopol.
