Pain Management Center

The main goal is to create a unique Pain Management Center in Ukraine, taking into account a lot of years of experience of leading Ukrainian and international experts.

Every institution should have its own philosophy. The philosophy of the Karazin Center is a combination of innovations and the traditional “classical” approach to the patient for adequate pain correction.

We offer a comprehensive solution to the problem of pain syndromes within the walls of one institution with the involvement of a wide range of the best medical experts and professionals from other fields. High professionalism is the best guarantee.

The center will provide consultative reception of patients with pain of various etiologies, use of various imaging methods for diagnosis and treatment, non-drug methods of pain control, separate treatment programs for different categories of the population, visiting teams of experts to provide specialized care in remote areas or when it is impossible to transport the patient.

In addition to clinical activities, the Karazin Pain Management Center will create an educational platform for practical training of medical students and interns, educational events for advanced training of medical professionals, and educational events for the general public.

We also plan to create a research space for the development of national pain management protocols in the practice of doctors of various specialties, clinical trials of medicines and medical equipment, and PhD programs for scientists.

In addition, our project allows us to educate highly qualified experts and provide jobs for education and science workers.

Since this format of treatment of patients with chronic pain is new to us, we plan to establish cooperation with international pain management associations, educational activities with professors from both countries, and joint recognition of advanced training documents. All this is very important to ensure the development, improvement and implementation of programs of comprehensive multidisciplinary pain management individually for each patient and the continuous development of modern medicine.

Nowhere in the world is there such a large number of patients with various types of pain as in Ukraine. Therefore, proposals for the exchange of experience, grant programs, and internships in Germany and Ukraine can ensure fruitful cooperation with the subsequent creation of a well-established system of medical tourism.

Therefore, we have proposals for the development of a joint investment project of the Pain Management Center with organizational and methodological support from Karazin University experts.

These components of the Karazin Pain Management Center will become a reliable basis for research and development of medicine and science. In the future, we plan to expand the introduction of similar medical and educational institutions in the medical system of Ukraine. The main thing for us is to give people the opportunity to live without pain.
