The issue of humanitarian demining is growing exponentially for our country. The development of effective methods for detecting and classifying hidden objects in the soil is more important than ever. Developing an approach using ultra-wideband GPR and artificial intelligence. The use of an approach with data processing by artificial neural networks makes it possible to automate the process of detecting and classifying explosive objects. This approach also makes it possible to detect both metal objects and anti-personnel mines that contain a minimum of metal parts.

The project goal is to manufacture a platform for scanning the ground with GPR to obtain more data from real-world conditions, followed by placing the system on a mobile platform and testing it in real-world conditions.
