Department of Marketing, Management and Entrepreneurship

The academic staff of the graduating Department of Marketing, Management and Entrepreneurship is a young and dynamic team with modern expertise, strong potential, and a high level of professional commitment. The department is distinguished by its high standards of work and its dedication to innovative directions in marketing, management, entrepreneurship, and educational technologies.

Training of specialists is carried out in accordance with the concept of multi-level higher education, the educational and professional programmes, and curricula for the following specialities: 073 “Management”, 075 “Marketing”, and 076 “Entrepreneurship, Trade and Exchange Activities”.

The educational process is focused on providing comprehensive humanitarian and advanced professional training in line with national educational standards. The content of the elective components for Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes in “Management”, “Marketing”, and “Entrepreneurship, Trade and Exchange Activities” reflects the distinctive features of education at V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University: broad worldview, harmonisation of professional knowledge, development of creative abilities, and mastery of modern technologies in marketing, management, and entrepreneurship.

Students are actively involved in the department’s research activities in the fields of strategic marketing and management, and innovative entrepreneurship, presenting the results of their work in academic publications.

The system and purposefulness of training fully correspond to current and future labour-market demands. The department cooperates with various business structures and non-profit organisations. Key forms of collaboration between academia and industry include:
— inviting business practitioners to teach specialised courses;
— partnership agreements with enterprises;
— internship programmes in Ukrainian and international companies;
— professional student associations in economic research.
