Oleksiy Husarov

In May 2022, Oleksiy Husarov, a graduate of the Department of Economics and Management of the Faculty of Economics of the Karazin University, died in the battle with the Russian invaders during the repulse of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

In 1999, Oleksiy obtained the qualification of a specialist in the specialty "Economic and Social Planning". After graduating from the university, he worked in Kharkiv financial institutions in various positions.

Since the beginning of the invasion of russian troops on the territory of Ukraine in 2014, he was not aloof, and later joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

On April 25, 2022, for personal courage and selfless actions shown in the defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, loyalty to the military oath, Oleksiy was awarded the Order "For Courage" III degree. On May 22, 2022, he was awarded the Order "For Courage" II degree (posthumously).

The Karazin community expresses its deepest condolences to the family, relatives and friends of the deceased. Oleksiy will always be remembered as cheerful, friendly, always ready to help, a person with a big heart!
