Quality education

In accordance with the Regulations on the Student Self-Government of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, the Student Council of the University

ensures the protection of the rights and interests of university students, satisfies their needs concerning education, accommodation, health issues, recreation, etc;
takes part in the university management;
discusses and solves the problems related to the educational process improvement, research and educational work, scholarships, and health improvement;
ensures and controls a high quality of the educational process, makes proposals on the content of curricula and educational programs;
delegates its representatives to working, advisory and consultative bodies;
submits proposals concerning the university facilities development;
supports the students’ initiatives, providing them the assistance needed;
provides conditions for the students’ development by involving them in various creative activities such as cultural, technical and social events, sports competitions, etc;
facilitates student participation in international, national, interregional, regional and other youth projects, contests, and conferences.

The rights and responsibilities of the University Student Council are aimed at promoting high quality education and keeping it to the standards.
