Biography

Education:

1977 – Graduated from M. Gorky Kharkiv State University with a degree in Mathematics and obtained the qualification of Mathematician.
1988 – Defended Ph.D. thesis at the Specialized Academic Council of Kharkiv State University.

Professional Experience:

August 1977 – April 1986: Junior Research Fellow, Research Department, Kharkiv State University.
April 1986 – October 1989: Assistant Lecturer, Department of Higher Mathematics and Informatics.
October 1989 – June 1992: Senior Lecturer, Department of Higher Mathematics and Informatics.
June 1992 – March 2004: Associate Professor, Department of Higher Mathematics and Informatics; Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, School of Mechanics and Mathematics.
March 2004 – June 2008: Director, Center for International Education.
June 2008 – March 2009: Associate Professor, Department of Mathematical Methods in Economics, Faculty of Economics; Acting Head of the Department.
March 2009 – October 2019: Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.
October 2019 – August 2023: Deputy Director, Educational and Research Institute “Karazin Business School.”
