Biography

Biography:

  • In 1980, he graduated from the Kyiv Electromechanical College of Railway Transport named after M. Ostrovsky with a degree in Automation and Telemechanics in Railway Transport.

  • In 1988, he graduated with honors from the Kharkiv Institute of Railway Engineers named after S. M. Kirov, earning a degree in Automation, Telemechanics, and Communications in Railway Transport.

  • In 2002, he defended his dissertation and was awarded the academic degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences.

  • In 2014, he defended his doctoral dissertation and was awarded the academic degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences in the specialty 05.22.09 – Electric Transport.

Professional Experience:

  • From 1979 to 1988, he held various positions, including Signal, Centralization, and Blocking Electrician at the Southwestern and Southern Railways.

  • 1988–1992 – Junior Research Fellow at the Department of Automation and Telemechanics, Kharkiv Institute of Railway Engineers named after S. M. Kirov;

  • 1992–1995 – Assistant to the Rector for Commercial Affairs, Kharkiv Institute of Railway Engineers named after S. M. Kirov;

  • 1995–2002 – Vice-Rector for Administrative and Economic Affairs, Kharkiv State Academy of Railway Transport;

  • 2002–2006 – Vice-Rector for Administrative, Economic, and Financial Affairs, Ukrainian State Academy of Railway Transport;

  • 2006–2021 – Vice-Rector for Academic and Educational Work, Ukrainian State University of Railway Transport.

Awards and Distinctions:

  • Medal "For Labour Distinction";

  • Badge of Honor "Railway Glory" (3rd Class);

  • Badge "Honorary Railwayman";

  • Badge "Honorary Distinction";

  • Acknowledgment from the Mayor of Kharkiv;

  • Honorary Certificate from the Kharkiv Regional State Administration;
