Meeting of the Honorary Doctor of the University Volodymyr Salenkov with the Deputy Minister of Culture of Bulgaria Ashot Kazaryan

On 3 December 2025 in Sofia (Bulgaria), a meeting took place between Volodymyr Salenkov — Head of the Kharkiv City Society of Bulgarian Culture named after M. Drinov, Chair of the Supervisory Board of the M. Drinov Center for Bulgarian and Balkan Studies, and Honorary Doctor of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University — and the Deputy Minister of Culture of Bulgaria Ashot Kazaryan.

The participants discussed the prospects for cooperation between Ukrainian academic and educational centers and the Bulgarian government, as well as the opportunities currently provided by the Cabinet of Ministers of this EU country in the field of ethnographic, cultural, and historical studies related to Bulgarian communities abroad, particularly in Ukraine.
