Basketball Competition among Men’s Teams within the Sports Project “PLICH-O-PLICH. All-Ukrainian Student Leagues”: Results
On May 27–28, 2026, the regional stage of the basketball competition among men’s teams was held within the sports project “PLICH-O-PLICH. All-Ukrainian Student Leagues.”
The Karazin University team took 5th place in the tournament.
The team included: Maksym Polevych (School of Medicine), Dmytro Demskyi (School of Biology), Oleksandr Voronkov (Education and Research Institute of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence), Dmytro Dolia (Education and Research Institute of Ecology, Green Energy and Sustainable Development), Oleksandr Samoilenko (Education and Research Institute of Chemistry), and Kostiantyn Zhydkov (School of Geology, Geography, Recreation and Travel Business).
The team was prepared for the competition by Senior Lecturer Oleksandr Ishchenko from the Department of Basic Military Training, Physical Education and Sports.
