Collection of funds for the restoration of the monument to the student of the university Myroslav Mysla
Kharkiv Karazin University Foundation initiates fundraising for the restoration of the monument to ATO veteran, Karazin University graduate Myroslav Mysla.
Myroslav Mysla voluntarily went to the front in the summer of 2014, received the rank of officer and was appointed a platoon commander of the assault company "Karpatska Sich" of the 93rd separate mechanized brigade "Kholodny Yar", participated in the defense of Donetsk airport. After the end of hostilities, he dreamed of working as a history teacher.
A student of the history faculty of Karazin University died on October 2, 2016 during shelling near the village of Krymske in Luhansk region. Miroslav was 24 years old.
On the anniversary of his death, a delegation from Karazin University visited the monument to Myroslav Mysla in the village of Volokhiv Yar, Chuguyiv District, and honored the memory of the deceased.
During the occupation of a village near Balaklia, the Russians destroyed a monument to a Ukrainian hero. But they cannot destroy the historical memory, national consciousness and identity of the Ukrainian people. We remember every Ukrainian who fought for the territorial integrity and independence of our state at the cost of his own life, and we will rebuild everything that was destroyed by the aggressor.
