Meeting of the University Academic Council

On January 26, a regular meeting of the Academic Council was held at V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.

At the beginning of the meeting, the university community congratulated Professor Ivan Dmytrovych Horbenko, Doctor of Technical Sciences, on the occasion of his 80th anniversary and honored his significant contribution to the development of science.

In accordance with the agenda, the Academic Council considered and approved personnel-related matters, agreed on changes to the structure of certain faculties, and adopted decisions on the establishment of one-time specialized academic councils at Karazin University.

During the meeting, members of the Academic Council approved a number of regulatory documents governing the university’s educational, scientific-methodological, and research activities. In particular, these included regulations and concepts of educational activity at the second (Master’s) level of higher education, as well as the university’s policy on the use of artificial intelligence.

In addition, decisions were made on awarding named scholarships to the best students, issues related to the activities of educational and research institutes and scientific units were considered, and the registration of a scientific journal was reviewed.
