Congratulations on the Day of Ukrainian Statehood!
Today, July 15, Ukraine celebrates the Day of Ukrainian Statehood. For our country, this holiday is not merely a tribute to our thousand-year history, culture, and traditions, but also a recognition of the tremendous price we pay every day for the right to remain independent and preserve our unique identity.
For Karazin University, this day holds a special and profound significance. For more than 220 years, the University has remained an intellectual stronghold of eastern Ukraine. It was within these walls that the foundations of the Ukrainian national revival were laid, our history was studied, and our language and culture were nurtured. Karazin University has always been and continues to be a place where intellectuals capable of building and defending their state are educated.
Today, statehood is not merely about borders on a map. It is about our resilience, unity, and daily work. The Karazin community continues to stand strong: our faculty members, students, and alumni are defending Ukraine on the front lines with weapons in their hands, volunteering, fighting on the information front, making scientific discoveries, and continuing the educational process in unbreakable Kharkiv. Every lecture delivered, every diploma awarded, and every scientific patent obtained is our collective contribution to the country's independent future.
We have proved to the world that Ukrainian statehood cannot be destroyed, because its foundation lies in free, educated, and strong people.
We congratulate the Karazin family and all of Ukraine on this holiday! We express our deepest respect and boundless gratitude to our defenders who are fighting for our right to live on our own land. We wish all of us resilience, inexhaustible energy, peace, and the swiftest possible Victory.
Glory to Ukraine!
