On February 3, an exhibition of gratitude was opened at Karazin University to honor the donors who have been supporting the university throughout the full-scale war. The composition of the stand was designed by artist Andriy Bezuhelyi.
The event began with a moment of silence as everyone present paid their respects to the fallen heroes who gave the highest price for Ukraine.
The Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Fund, Vil Bakirov, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. He emphasized: "Every penny and every hryvnia matters, both small and large donations are important, as all this money goes to support our university. This is why the Kharkiv Karazin University Fund was established on July 15, 2022."
Also, the Deputy Chairman of the Kharkiv Regional Organization of the Education and Science Workers' Union of Ukraine, Serhiy Borysenko, spoke before the attendees.
It is worth noting that for the restoration of Karazin University, the Fund’s team, the university's administrative team led by Rector Tetyana Kaganovska, partners, friends, and alumni have collected over 16,825,916.56 UAH in monetary and charitable contributions. We sincerely thank each of you for your contribution — it is crucial for the support and restoration of the university.
We are grateful to every donor. Together, we can overcome any challenges on our way!
