The Solemn Graduation Ceremony of the Master's Degree Recipients at Karazin University
A solemn graduation ceremony for the students of Karazin University and the awarding of the best master's graduates of 2023 took place at Karazin University.
Due to the security situation in Ukraine, the event was held in a hybrid format. All interested parties had the opportunity to join the online broadcast of the event live and attend the offline graduation in a sheltered location.
The graduation ceremony for master's degree recipients took place with the participation of the university leadership led by Rector Tetyana Kaganovska, deans of schools, directors of institutes, and graduates.
"You are an extraordinary generation that has faced many challenges. You are the first cohort of master's students who entered during the war. Today, you receive your diplomas, and the war continues. But it is thanks to you that our university thrives in these difficult times — education, scientific research, and civic activities continue.
You have demonstrated your strength and readiness for change, a readiness to defend the future of our country. Our graduates are not just representatives of Karazin; they are a unique intellectual facet of our state. Today, we wish you success, inspiration, happiness, and the ability to find your professional path and realize your potential. We are confident that you will return to the university's walls more than once because Karazin is a lifelong love," greeted the students Rector Tetyana Kaganovska.
The Karazin University community has lost its graduates, employees, and students in the war, so those present paid tribute with a moment of silence to those who gave their lives for the future of Ukraine.
Congratulations and words of encouragement to the graduates were also expressed by the Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute "School of Physics" Pylyp Kuznetsov. Traditionally, the university administration awarded the best graduates with commemorative medals for outstanding academic achievements, remarkable contributions to scientific activities, and active participation in public life.
On behalf of the student community, graduate of the School of Geology, Geography, Recreation, and Tourism Hanna Karaychentseva thanked the teachers and university administration for knowledge, care, support, faith, and assistance on the path to achieving goals and professional heights.
A musical surprise for the graduates was the performance of the student Karazin Orchestra.
Congratulations to the graduates of Karazin University! We wish you health, inspiration, perseverance, and the achievement of all your goals. May the successful completion of your studies be a stepping stone to a happy future!
