In Karazin University, specialized summer schools and thematic special courses for teachers and lecturers of educational institutions were held

During June 2022, Karazin University held a number of summer thematic profile schools on subjects and special thematic profile courses.

They took place within the scope of professional development for various categories of teachers and lecturers of educational institutions of Kharkiv districts, separate territorial communities of rural districts of Kharkiv region, Kyiv, Poltava region and Odesa. Since 2019, Karazin University has held such events annually in the summer.

Five summer schools and eight special courses were held on the basis of the post-graduate education center together with the scientific and pedagogical staff of the relevant departments of the Faculty of Geography, Geology, Recreation and Tourism, the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics, the Faculty of Foreign Languages, the Faculty of Philology and Law, the Department of Physical Culture and of sports of the Karazin University, by teachers of the Communal Institution "Kharkiv City Resource Inclusive Center", Kharkiv Secondary School of Grades I-III No. 28.

This year's events, in which 128 teachers and professors took part, were held online in the conditions of war, which led to an increase in the number of participants, expansion of the geography of the participating regions, deepening of the topics and content of schools and special courses.

Vice-rector Oleksandr Golovko took part in the events on June 30, 2022, who thanked the participants for trusting Karazin University in the field of postgraduate education, introduced the conditions for admission to the university in 2022, drew the attention of those present to the wide potential opportunities to improve their professional, professional, inclusive and digital competence in various institutional forms specifically at Kharkiv National University named after V. N. Karazin.

Also, during a lecture session for students, the director of the post-graduate education center, Mykhailo Tatarinov, emphasized the peculiarities of the implementation of the new State Standard of Basic Education from the beginning of the 2022/2023 academic year and the specifics of the organization of the educational process for students of general secondary education according to the new modular programs.

All participants of summer thematic profile schools in subjects and special thematic profile courses received appropriate certificates of professional development.
