Karazin University Hosts European Studies Training Sessions within the Jean Monnet EAUCES Project
On 27–28 June 2026, V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University hosted a series of training sessions for teachers, civil servants, and business representatives within the framework of the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence project “Eastern Ukrainian Centre of European Studies” (EAUCES) (ERASMUS-JMO-2024-COE, No. 101176972). The event served as a platform for professional development, experience exchange, and deepening knowledge of contemporary European integration processes, digital transformation, and opportunities for cooperation with the European Union.
Over the course of two days, participants had the opportunity to explore a wide range of relevant topics, including:
- the establishment and current development of the EU Digital Single Market and the governance and regulation of the digital space in the European Union;
- modern approaches to fulfilment and logistics solutions for businesses, as well as practical aspects of exporting goods and services to EU countries;
- the fundamentals of the European Union’s external relations law;
- the specific features of the EU decision-making system and budgetary processes;
- opportunities for participation in European research and innovation programmes, particularly Horizon Europe;
- the development of competences in digital literacy and modern teaching methodologies.
The training sessions were aimed not only at knowledge transfer but also at developing practical skills necessary for working in the context of digitalisation, international cooperation, and Ukraine’s European integration. Participants had the opportunity to engage in discussions, address current challenges in their professional fields, and acquire tools that can be applied in their daily professional activities.
We would like to thank all participants for their active engagement, interest, and meaningful discussions.
We look forward to future meetings and invite everyone to join the upcoming project events next year.
