Special thematic specialized summer courses and summer thematic specialized schools on subjects for teachers of educational institutions have started at Karazin University

On June 12, 2023, Karazin University began the educational process for teachers of various types of educational institutions and health care facilities at special thematic specialized summer courses and summer thematic specialized schools.

The training involves 71 teachers from educational and health care institutions from eight districts of Kharkiv, professional higher education institutions, 11 city and village territorial communities of Kharkiv region, village and town councils of Sumy and Chernihiv regions.

Karazin University started the practice of holding annual summer specialized schools and special thematic specialized courses in subjects in June 2023.

In the summer of 2023, within the framework of creative, interactive, practice-oriented and cognitive classes for teachers participating in special thematic summer courses and summer thematic specialized schools, the Center for Postgraduate Education will hold various lectures, practical, laboratory, training, demonstration classes on current educational challenges in preschool, general secondary, professional higher education, implementation of the tasks of the New Ukrainian School for future 6th grade students, organization, conduct and psychological support of the summer specialized schools.

The lecturers of the special courses and summer schools were academic staff of the departments of Biology, History, Geology, Geography, Recreation and Tourism, Foreign Languages, Mathematics and Computer Science, and Physical Culture and Sports, as well as external partners: teachers of municipal pre-school education institution No. 427, Kharkiv Gymnasium No. 46, Kharkiv Inclusive Resource Center of Kharkiv City Council, Kharkiv Humanities and Pedagogical Academy of Kharkiv Regional Council.

At the inaugural lesson, Mykhailo Tatarinov, Director of the Center for Postgraduate Education, told the students about the proposed range of topics, forms of learning the content of the materials, the specifics of the educational process, and the results of the students' learning in accordance with the selected number of hours and credits. 

The participants were evaluated at the entrance, which allowed us to quickly adjust organizational issues. 

According to the schedule of the educational process in such special courses and summer specialized schools, the educational process will last until June 30, 2023, and based on the results of effective mastering of the educational material, its participants will receive documents of the established standard.
