A student of Karazin University received a Konrad Adenauer Foundation scholarship

Varvara Kabargina, a student of the Faculty of History, became a participant in the Sur-Place 2021/2022 scholarship program of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Ukraine among students of Eastern Ukrainian universities.

Varvara Kabargina is a 4th-year student, deputy head of the Scientific Society of Students of the Faculty of History, laureate of the M. S. Hrushevsky scholarship (2021), prize-winner of the All-Ukrainian competition of scientific works "Preserving the memory of the Holocaust" (2021), winner of the international essay competition “Youth Essay Competition: the Fifth Call. Understanding Association Agreement between the EU and Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia" by 3DCFTAs (2020).

This is not the first time that students of the Department of History of Ukraine have become participants in the Sur-Place scholarship program of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Ukraine. We will remind that in the 2020/2021 academic year, the head of the student scientific circle of the department, Maria Vanina, received a scholarship.

The scholarship is awarded for special academic achievements and active participation in the social and political life of the country. Scholars receive the right to attend interesting lectures and practical classes in the humanities from leading specialists, and also after completing the program to further cooperate with representatives of the Foundation in different countries of the world.
