The Training Course "Digital Technologies for Inclusive Learning" Has Started Within the EURIDICE Project

The professional development course "Digital Technologies for Inclusive Learning" has commenced, aimed at enhancing the professional skills and expertise of educational staff of various categories and administrative personnel from educational institutions of different types, ownership forms, and subordination.
The course was developed within the activities of the Center for Innovative Educational Technologies of the Education and Research Institute "Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy."
It is conducted as part of the EURIDICE project "European Inclusive Education for the Digital Society, Social Innovation, and Global Citizenship," under the EU's Digital Europe Programme (DIGITAL) (Project No. 101123121).
EURIDICE is focused on developing and implementing international educational programs in digital society, social innovation, and global citizenship. These programs are designed for a broad audience: master's and doctoral students, as well as professionals in education, communication, culture, business, industry, and public administration.

The course aims to develop participants' competencies in using modern digital technologies to ensure equal access to quality education for children and adults with special educational needs (SEN).
Throughout the training, participants will explore topics such as:

Fundamentals of inclusive education;

Digital technologies in inclusive education;

Adaptive technologies and software;
-
Interactive learning tools;
-
Digital technologies for alternative and augmentative communication (AAC);

Web resources and online tools for inclusive education;
-
Safety and ethics of using digital technologies for children with SEN.
Upon completing the course, participants will:

Gain knowledge of the main digital resources and platforms for inclusive learning;

Understand how to use special programs, applications, and devices (screen readers, speech recognition software, tactile displays, etc.);

Acquire skills in using alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) tools to support the learning process;

Learn to develop and adapt educational materials to meet the needs of students with SEN;

Master the use of gamification, interactive technologies, and multimedia tools in education;

Gain expertise in integrating digital tools into both traditional and distance teaching methods;

Understand how to build an inclusive learning environment using digital technologies;

Acquire skills for organizing interaction among all participants in the educational process (students, parents, colleagues, administration);

Develop proficiency in using online services for collaboration and communication;

Understand the ethical standards for using digital resources with children with SEN;

Understand the legal and regulatory framework for inclusive and digital education;

Acquire knowledge and skills to ensure the safety and confidentiality of student data.
