Cooperation of Karazin University with the "Kharkiv-Oxford" Association

On April 19, 2023, Karazin University and the newly established Kharkiv-Oxford Association started cooperation, which aims to develop and strengthen ties between the city of Oxford and the city of Kharkiv, as well as to promote goodwill and cooperation between the people of these two regions, resulting in a brotherhood between Kharkiv and Oxford.

The association’s activity is also aimed at establishing and developing cultural, educational and scientific ties between the partner universities.

Karazin University was represented by Vice-Rector for Research and Education Borys Samorodov, Head of the International Relations Department, Dean of the School of Foreign Languages Svitlana Virotchenko and Associate Professor of the Mykola Lukash Translation Studies Department of the School of Foreign Languages Antonina Ivakhnenko.

During the first inaugural meeting of the Kharkiv-Oxford Association, the organization’s Charter was approved and the members of the Executive Committee were appointed.

We are confident in continuing fruitful cooperation at the international scale together with the Department of International Cooperation of Kharkiv City Council and higher education institutions of the Kharkiv region.
