Professor Oleksandr Zhytnyi Elected to the High Council of Justice: Karazin Community Extends Its Congratulations

On August 27, 2026, a landmark event took place for the Ukrainian legal community and Karazin University. The Congress of Representatives of Ukrainian Higher Education Institutions and Research Institutions in the Field of Law elected Oleksandr Zhytnyi, Head of the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines at the School of Law of Karazin University, Doctor of Law, Professor, and Honored Lawyer of Ukraine, as a member of the High Council of Justice.

This decision is yet another confirmation of the high standing of the Karazin School of Law, its significant contribution to the development of Ukraine’s national justice system and the strengthening of Ukrainian statehood.
