Representatives of Karazin University Took Part in the Celebration of the 77th Anniversary of the Republic Day of India

On January 26, 2026, a ceremonial reception dedicated to the 77th anniversary of the Republic Day of India was held in Kyiv. The event was organized by the Embassy of India in Ukraine and became a landmark occasion for the diplomatic, academic, and cultural communities, bringing together representatives of government authorities, business, science, and culture.

At the invitation of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Ukraine, Mr. Ravi Shankar, representatives of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, led by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Zarif Nazirov, took part in the celebrations. This participation testified to the high level of trust and respect for the university as an authoritative participant in international educational and scientific cooperation.

The celebrations were held in an atmosphere of sincere mutual respect, friendship, and openness to further deepening Ukrainian–Indian relations. During the meetings, emphasis was placed on the importance of developing partnerships in the fields of education and science, as well as on the shared commitment to expanding international academic cooperation.

The event also included discussions on prospects for expanding academic exchange, implementing joint research projects, and organizing open lectures and scientific events with the participation of leading Indian scholars at the university. V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University continues to consistently develop international cooperation, contributing to the integration of Ukrainian higher education and science into the global academic and research space.
