PEIC at Karazin University: New Opportunities for English Proficiency Certification

The Official Pearson English International Certificate (PEIC) Testing Center, operating under the International Center for Language Training and Certification at the School of Foreign Languages of Karazin University, continues to provide students and all interested individuals with the opportunity to certify their English proficiency according to international standards.

On November 30 and December 14, 2024, the university hosted the second PEIC testing session following the center’s status update.

Six candidates successfully passed the exams at B1 (Intermediate), B2 (Upper Intermediate), and C1 (Advanced) levels, which correspond to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). These certificates are essential for participation in international educational programs, professional development, and career advancement.

The exams were conducted under conditions that met the highest security standards and modern testing requirements. Thanks to Karazin University’s infrastructure and technology, not only was the fairness of the assessment ensured, but also the comfort of the participants.

PEIC is one of the most reliable international tools for assessing language skills, making it popular among students, educators, and professionals.

On February 10, 2025, Pearson officially confirmed that six out of seven candidates successfully passed the exam. This result highlights the high quality of preparation and organization of testing at our center.

The PEIC Testing Center at Karazin University plans to hold exams twice a year, in June and December, allowing candidates to prepare in advance and plan for certification in line with their educational and professional goals.
