Karazin University teachers took part in the kick-off meeting of the project "Development of reading skills with the help of digital technologies"
Representatives of the Faculty of Foreign Languages: Dean, Associate Professor Svitlana Virotchenko and Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages Professional Direction Hanna Guseva — took part in the kick-off meeting of the Erasmus+ joint project and the European Union program "Developing Reading Skills With and Through Digital Technologies" (eREAD)ˮ, which took place on March 13 and 14, 2023 in Narva, Estonia.
The project is aimed at the popularization of the Ukrainian language with the help of digital technologies and the implementation of innovative digital practices in the teaching and learning of reading in the state language.
During the founding meeting of the project coordinators, representatives of educational institutions from four countries (Estonia, Slovenia, Latvia and Ukraine), the participants presented their institutions, as well as got acquainted with the mission and strategy for the development of international activities and cooperation of Narva College of the University of Tartu.
Educational ideas of the eREAD project, directions of work and expected results were presented at the meeting. During the meeting, planning was carried out, aspects of cooperation regarding the implementation of the project's goals were discussed, and the deadlines for the implementation of the project's stages were set.
