Dean of the School of Philology, Professor Yevheniya Chekaryeva, Deputy Director of the Education and Research Institute "Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogics Academy," Professor Maryna Vasylyeva (online), and Deputy Head of the International Relations Department Roman Nesterenko participated in the hybrid workshop “Cooperation with Ukraine in the Humanities” organized by BAYHOST at Andrássy University in Budapest, Hungary.
The university representatives delivered presentations on the following topics:
- “Multilingualism in Ukraine: History and Development Prospects” (Yevheniya Chekaryeva),
- “Foreign Language Training in the European Integration of Ukrainian Students: Current Challenges” (Maryna Vasylyeva and Roman Nesterenko).
In addition, they held successful negotiations with representatives of universities and public organizations from Bavaria, Finland, and Hungary.
The event brought together over 60 representatives from institutions across Ukraine, Hungary, Germany, and other regional countries.
The workshop focused on fostering and expanding academic partnerships during these challenging times, particularly for Ukrainian institutions facing the consequences of Russia's military aggression.
Discussions covered crucial topics such as multilingualism, digital humanities, and digital education.
One of the most significant outcomes of the workshop was establishing direct dialogue among participating institutions. These discussions have already sparked interest in new joint projects, exchange programs, and collaborative research initiatives.
