Karazin University Opens Its Doors to Prospective Students

18 march 2025 year

On March 16, Karazin University held a large-scale Open Day in a hybrid format. Prospective students and their parents had the opportunity to meet deans, professors, and students from various schools and education and research institutes in person. They also had a chance to interact with representatives of the student council and ask questions about academic programs and student life.

The exhibition of faculties and institutes took place in safe university spaces. For those unable to attend in person, an online broadcast was available on the university's YouTube channel. The recording of the broadcast can be viewed via the provided link.

The university's rector, Tetyana Kaganovska, delivered a welcoming speech:

"Karazin University embodies pride, responsibility, and faith. It is pride in a university that, despite all challenges, continues to move forward, uniting progressive thought leaders and true patriots. It is responsibility for the legacy we have inherited and for the future we must create for our children. And it is faith that our university will endure, as it has many times before."

Iryna Shteimiller, Head of the International Relations Department, informed prospective students about Karazin University's international academic mobility opportunities, partnerships with European universities, and dual degree programs.

Additionally, guests attended both online and offline briefings with the Admissions Committee Secretary, Hanna Zubenko. There, they learned about the main stages of university admission in 2025, the use of the electronic applicant's account, entry coefficients, special conditions, and the functionality of the "Karazin University Applicant" website.

Future students were also addressed by Oleksandr Peliukh, Head of the Student Union of Students, Postgraduates, and Doctoral Students, and Sofiia Panasiuk, Head of the Student Council. They spoke about the activities of these student organizations and the opportunities available for students.

The Open Day took place in a warm atmosphere of connection, inspiration for future achievements, and the pursuit of dreams.

A heartfelt thank you to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, whose dedication allows us to continue living, working, teaching, and learning today!
