Karazin University has long and strong ties with Italy, particularly in the fields of astronomy, Italian language teaching, history and archaeology. This is facilitated by the activity of the Ukrainian-Italian academic center created at the university, which is engaged in the organization of academic exchanges and popularization of the Italian language and culture.
Pier Francesco Dzazzo emphasized the prospects that open up, in particular, for young people with the study of Italian, which is the fourth most studied language in the world: learning about a rich culture (fashion, music, literature), cooperation in the field of economy and science
The participants of the meeting discussed the possibilities of opening an educational program in Karazinsky with Italian as a first foreign language, the prospects of conducting joint scientific projects in the field of astronomy and archeology, language schools for teachers, various cultural events, etc.

The second necessary component of a good diplomat is experience from many trips and a sincere curiosity about the surrounding world and everything new.

The Ambassador particularly praised the Erasmus+ project with the University of Palermo for the excellent results obtained during the academic exchange.
