On November 12, 2024, Karazin University launched advanced training courses for academic staff under the certificate program "Ukrainian as the State Language in Professional Contexts."

Participants include faculty from the departments of economics, medicine, philology, the "Karazin Institute of International Relations and Travel Business," the "Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogical Academy," and the department of physical education and sports.

Yuliia Hariunova, PhD in Philology and author of the certificate program, welcomed participants and introduced them to the program’s practical focus on enhancing their language and communication skills in modern Ukrainian.

Mykhailo Tatarynov, Director of the Center for Postgraduate Education, highlighted key aspects of the educational process schedule, especially in light of potential blackouts, provided safety instructions for conditions under martial law, and conducted an initial evaluation.

Participants discussed topics for their practical projects (such as methodological recommendations for bachelor's and master's students, research articles, textbook sections, syllabi, etc., according to their professional field) to be completed as part of their final assessment.

During the session, Mykhailo Tatarynov and Yuliia Hariunova addressed the participants' pressing questions.

The training program will continue through January 3, 2025.
