Karazin University Strengthens Cooperation with Educational and Scientific Institutions in Georgia
The number of friends and partners of Karazin University worldwide is steadily growing. On April 15, 2024, Zarif Nazyrov, the Vice-Rector of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, made a series of visits to educational and scientific institutions in Georgia.
During the meeting with the Rector of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Jaba Samushia, a wide range of issues related to joint scientific projects in the fields of physics and mathematics were discussed. Representatives from both universities agreed to enhance cooperation in the field of scientific research and exchange of experience. Additionally, they plan to jointly implement academic mobility programs for students and faculty aimed at knowledge and innovation exchange.
Zarif Nazyrov also made a working visit to the Institute of High Energy at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. During the meeting with scientists, perspectives of collaborative work within programs dedicated to the development of high-energy physics were discussed.
Mr. Nazyrov and the representatives of the institute exchanged ideas regarding joint research and projects aimed at improving technologies in the field of high-energy physics. Special attention was given to innovative approaches and opportunities for scientific and technical cooperation.
During the visit to the library of Tbilisi State University, the Karazin University Vice-Rector discussed possibilities for cooperation in the field of information resources and exchange of literary publications. As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to deepen cooperation between the libraries of both universities. This step will contribute to the development of scientific exchange and provide students and researchers with access to a wider range of scientific literature.
During the meeting with the academician, Corresponding Member of the Georgian National Academy of Sciences, Georgi Dzhaparidze, perspectives of cooperation in the field of high technologies were discussed. After a productive discussion, both sides expressed their intention to strengthen cooperation and implement specific initiatives aimed at promoting scientific knowledge and technological progress.
This visit to Georgia was an important step in supporting international scientific exchange and cooperation. It opens up new opportunities for the development of scientific relationships and joint achievements.
