The Karazin School of Business received funding for the implementation of the project "Development of a practical certification program "Mediation skills in the social sphere and the sphere of health care"
On August 2, 2021, the educational and scientific institute "Karazin Business School" received funding for the implementation of the project "Development of a practical certification program "Mediation skills in the social sphere and the sphere of health care", which is carried out within the framework of the GIZ project "Strengthening resources for sustainable development host communities in the east of Ukraine" of the cluster "Perspectives for the development of the eastern regions of Ukraine", acting on behalf of the German government.
Project period: August 2, 2021 - May 31, 2022.
The main goal of the project is to develop a practical certification program "Mediation skills in the social sphere and the sphere of health care" for employees of medical and social institutions and to increase the level of communication skills among medical and social workers, to introduce innovative methods of dispute resolution (mediation skills) into work practice medical institutions and social welfare institutions, training medical personnel and social workers in non-conflict communication skills with the aim of creating a safe and supportive environment for medical workers and patients, social workers and clients, reducing social tension and improving the quality of medical and social care.
This project will provide health and social care workers with an innovative tool to reduce conflict, offer mutually beneficial solutions to existing disputes and help prevent new ones.
Among the main tasks of the project is to develop a certification practical program "Mediation skills in the social sphere and the sphere of health care", to develop and print a training manual, to conduct training for the first set of participants.
