Education Workers’ Day: The University Extends Its Greetings

4 october 2026 year

Every year, on the first Sunday of October, Ukraine honours those who carry out one of the most important tasks every day: educating conscientious, responsible and free citizens. Karazin University extends its greetings to everyone dedicated to education: academic staff, researchers, schoolteachers, early years educators and all colleagues whose work makes the educational process possible.

Educators impart more than knowledge. They show students how to ask questions, seek answers and take responsibility for their choices. The wisdom, patience and ability to inspire of those who teach help shape the students of today and, together with them, the future of the country. Every lecture, research project and conversation with a student contributes to the development of Ukrainian education and science.

For yet another year, educators have been working amid war: in unfamiliar formats, during air-raid alerts, often far from home and sometimes separated from their loved ones. Despite these challenges, members of the Karazin community continue to teach, conduct research, and support their students. We value your resilience and dedication. Thanks to this commitment, the University preserves its traditions, continues to develop, and remains a place where young people find support and inspiration.

Thank you for your professionalism, perseverance, and faith in the power of knowledge. We wish you good health, peace, creative inspiration, appreciative students, and continued success!

Happy Education Workers’ Day!
