Artem Cherniuk Attended the Summit of the Public Association of Educators “Prohresylni”

On 6 December 2025, the summit of Ukraine’s largest public association of educators — the NGO “Prohresylni” — took place at the Ukrainian House in Kyiv.

The event was attended by Artem Cherniuk, Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Power Engineering of the Education and Research Institute “Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy”.

This year’s summit became the largest to date, bringing together more than 700 educators from across the country, representing all levels of education.

During the event, a range of crucial issues in contemporary Ukrainian education was addressed: from the remuneration of teaching staff to inclusivity in education. The participants also considered the experience of displaced and frontline educational institutions, as well as schools piloting the format of state non-profit enterprises.

The summit served as a platform for an open discussion on the challenges posed by the war and the evident gap between expectations and realities in the Ukrainian educational sector.

In particular, the program included:

• a presentation of the annual results of the NGO’s activities, including achievements in advocacy and the protection of educators’ rights;

• a public discussion “PROeducation 2025: Between Expectations and Disappointments. How to Bridge the Gaps?”;

• an open-microphone session “Voices of Education: What Hurts and How to Act Together!”.

Special attention was given to supporting veterans with visual impairments and their rehabilitation.
