Help Karazin University

The Association of Alumni, Teachers and Friends of Kharkiv National University of V.N. Karazin is a public association of graduates and teachers of the University of all years.

President of the Association is Volodymyr Semynozhenko, Director General of the Institute of Single Crystals of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Chairman of the Northeastern Research Center of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, graduate of Karazin University. Vice President is Alexander Kaganovsky. Executive Director is Natalia Ivanova, Director of the Exhibition Center for Contemporary Art "YermilovCenter".

The Association works mainly in the following areas:

strengthening partnerships between the Association members (establishing links between the University alumni and its academic staff and students);
organizing and holding alumni reunions;
supporting public, scientific projects and student initiatives;
holding lectures, seminars, trainings, conferences and other scientific events with the participation of the University alumni;
supporting competitions and grants, international educational programs;
assisting in internships and employment of graduates, in particular abroad, etc.

During the hard times of the war, terrible murders, ruthless destruction of the university infrastructure and everything that Karazin University has created and protected for several centuries, the Alumni Association helps the Karazin community by collecting donations to help students, teachers and employees of Karazin University who suffered from Russian shelling during the war, as well as fundraising for the upcoming restoration of educational buildings.
