Structure

Today, the institute consists of 13 departments, offering training for specialists in 21 Bachelor's degree programs and 22 Master's degree programs. Both state-funded and contract-based places are available, as well as full-time and part-time study formats.

Activities

The institute conducts long-term research in the field of vocational education and staff training for the VET system. There are five scientific schools in both social and technical directions.

The Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy (UEPA) regularly publishes three professional collections of scientific works and prepares scientific personnel in postgraduate and doctoral programs. By orders of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, two specialized academic councils have been established for awarding the academic degrees of Doctor and Phd of Sciences. Over the past year, 12 scientific conferences and seminars were held, including international participants.

In 2023, UEPA faculty received two scientific grants for research at the University of Groningen (Netherlands) and Comenius University in Bratislava (Slovakia).

UEPA is actively involved in international activities. We have 34 active cooperation agreements with foreign HEIs and institutions. Also, we are implementing 9 Erasmus+ international credit mobility programs with universities from Poland, Germany, Spain, Romania, Bulgaria, and Slovakia, as well as several international grant projects for higher education capacity development, funded by Erasmus+, British Council, DAAD, Swedish Institute, House of Europe, and the Czech Development Agency.

The institute is a member of the International Society for Engineering Pedagogy (IGIP) and the only associate member of the International Federation of Engineering Education Societies (IFEES) in Ukraine with bronze status, as well as a signatory of the Magna Charta Universitatum.
