Activities

The institute's mission is to prepare highly qualified engineering and engineering-pedagogical personnel of a modern type for industry, education — vocational (vocational-technical) education, and other sectors of the economy. It is achieved by training specialists capable of performing production, educational, managerial, and other functions necessary for the existence and successful development of vocational education institutions (VET) and other organizations involved in training skilled professionals. These specialists are ready to operate in an updated economy and education system. The institute provides scientific and methodological support for educational activities to enhance the professionalism and competence of personnel. It primarily concerns educational-professional programs at the master's and bachelor's levels in the fields of knowledge 01 "Education / Pedagogy," 07 "Management and Administration," 14 "Electrical Engineering," 28 "Public Administration and Management," following global and European standards.

Continuous improvements are integrated into the professional training system according to stakeholders' needs, particularly practice-oriented project-based learning: students learn to solve specific practical tasks in real-world conditions. The institute ensures a continuous cycle of specialist training by increasing the professional competence of staff in vocational education institutions and other organizations involved in worker training, as well as managers and specialists of state, municipal, and other enterprises, institutions, and organizations, through professional development in accredited specialties.
