Activities
The Institute’s activities focus on training highly qualified engineering and engineering-pedagogical specialists of a modern type for industry, education — especially vocational (vocational and technical) education — and other sectors of the economy. This is achieved by preparing versatile professionals capable of performing production, educational, managerial, and other functions necessary to ensure the operation and successful development of vocational (VET) institutions and other establishments and organizations involved in training skilled workers for work in a renewed economy and education system.
The Institute provides scientific and methodological support of educational activities aimed at enhancing professional expertise and staff competence. This primarily concerns educational and professional training programmes at the second (Master’s) and first (Bachelor’s) levels of higher education in the fields of knowledge:

in line with global and European standards.
Continuous improvements are introduced into the professional training system in accordance with stakeholders’ needs, in particular practice-oriented project-based learning: students learn to solve specific practical tasks in real-life conditions of today.
The Institute ensures a continuous training cycle by increasing the level of professional competence of specialists from vocational education institutions and other establishments and organizations that train skilled workers, as well as managers and specialists of state, municipal, and other enterprises, institutions, and organizations — through advanced training and professional development in accredited specialties.
