CAFU Sustainability InnoCenter Partners Invite Researchers to Participate in New Programs

Our partners offer 2 programs: GAEA — Green Alternatives for European Autonomy, focused on green entrepreneurship, and EU Sparks for Climate!
GAEA is an open innovation program designed for creative individuals seeking to develop or improve an innovative concept into a startup.
This comprehensive program will start this summer.
Application deadline: June 7.
The project aligns with the EU Green Deal and aims to foster innovation in key areas through a holistic entrepreneurial environment: renewable energy, sustainable urban development, product and service design for the circular economy, resource efficiency, and many others.
Participants receive the following benefits:
- Digital certificate from a leading European green innovation initiative;
- Access to Boot Camp trainings, materials, and tools for startup development, as well as necessary entrepreneurial resources for building startup potential;
- Networking with industry leaders, successful entrepreneurs, and international students;
- Opportunity to win at the regional stage and participate in the final and interregional innovation competition with 40 teams;
- Access to the GAEA Challenge for startups worth up to €30,000.
EU Sparks for Climate program is organized by the European Commission and aims to bring together citizens and researchers to solve local sustainability issues within the framework of the first European Citizens' Hackathon Championship.
This program will take place from June 12 to 15 (16 hours spread over the day or evening, participants join as they have free time).
EU Sparks offers the following benefits for its participants:
- Positioning at the EU level as a key partner of the first EU Citizens' Hackathon Championship and contribution to solving climate challenges in your city, region, or country;
- Access to a broad network of experts, mentors, and judges;
- After winning at the regional stage, teams advance to the EU finals in Brussels, where the champions receive €5,000 per team, access to a network of angel investors, a crowdfunding campaign, and much more.
