Oleksandr Lipilin

On February 9, 2023, Oleksandr Lipilin, a graduate of the Faculty of Sociology in 2002, died while defending our land from the invaders near Bakhmut.

The university community remembers Oleksandr as a wonderful person. Always a calm and restrained man, he carried his guard with dignity and believed that victory would be ours. According to the reviews of his brothers, Oleksandr was always a reliable friend.

It is incredibly painful that this war cut short his life, hopes and plans, left two children fatherless.

The Karazin community expresses its deepest condolences to the family, relatives and friends of the deceased.
