Dmytro Shapoval

On July 19, 2022, Dmytro Shapoval, a graduate of the Faculty of History, died while performing his military duty in the Armed Forces of the Kherson region.

While studying at the faculty, Dmytro was one of the most active students of his course, participated in student creativity competitions, scientific conferences, and archaeological expeditions. He specialized in the Department of History of the Ancient World and the Middle Ages, researched the society of the period of the Roman Empire (supervisor, associate professor O. P. Martemyanov).

After completing his studies, he built a career in the field of tourism and hospitality. At various times, he worked as a chief coordinator of the guide department of "Chernobyl Tour" and was one of the expert speakers at the "Michelle" school of hotel business in Kyiv. Practitioner-physiognomist, one of the consultants and leader of physiognomic workshops "United Physiognomics Center".
