International conference: Gender Equality and Gender Studies at Universities: War, Peace and Development
The project ended in May 2024 with an international conference: “Gender Equality and Gender Studies at Universities: War, Oppression and Development”
On May 16-17, the final conference of the project “Gender Studies and the Challenges of War in Ensuring the Resilience of Universities in Ukraine” took place in Lund, Sweden: Networking for Excellence in Teaching and Institutional Development”, implemented jointly with Lund University (Sweden), Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, European Humanities University (Lithuania), V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University and Ili State University (Georgia).<.p>
The conference “Gender Equality and Gender Studies in Universities: War, Peace and Development” was held in a hybrid format and brought together experts, scholars and civil society activists to discuss such topics as “Feminist Solidarity and Gender Equality in Time of War”, “Gender Studies during War and Post-War” and “Anti-Discrimination Work and Gender Equality in Universities”. Our Oleksandra Deineko and Olena Muradyan took an active part in the panel discussions.
